Concept[]
Ryoya is Mackne Kioshi's first son. Originally designed to be a younger version of Ryoma, it was instead decided that he was the older brother of Ryoma, who came from the future.
Etymology[]
Ryoma comes from ryo (呂?), referring to a bass range in Japanese music, and ya (夜?), meaning "night".
